Pitch Concept Art For The Alien Prequel

As I was exploring the internet to see what was new, i stumbled upon this article stating that they were working on some concept art for the new Alien Prequel. They were trying to design the alien and an artist known as Dan Luvisi did some artwork and was sent to Fox. Here is a part of the article:

“So I was given an opportunity to do a pitch piece for the new Alien prequel based off of a design H.R. Giger did for one of the previous Alien movies (which was not used).

This was not intended to be the actual design, nor was it used for the new Alien film. As for where we are with the whole process, who knows. But thought you guys would like to see.

DNR In Alien Anthology

Reporting from DoBlu.com, it seems they have updated the Alien Anthology with some higher quality image system from James Cameron himself. How will this affect the films or even the price? Here is a part from the article:

“We follow that with some disturbing possibilities with the Alien Blu-ray release, including the admission of DNR from James Cameron himself. We fans the flames and discuss what could happen if that’s the result. We round with some warnings about HDMI cables, review some Blu, and discuss the dismal Blu-ray release slate.”

Xenomorph Hive has had tons of reviews and other special features added in the past but this time the Staff and I spent some time to dome some extra work for a surprise to the site, sense we won’t be getting some news in for a bit due to nothing is being released we have been adding some Content to most Films. Noomi Rapace For Alien Prequel?

Yes Noomi Rapace, the one with the dragon tattoo had an interesting talk with Ridley Scott. Is Riley thinking of adding her to the cast for the Alien Prequel? If this is true, what do you think the film would be if she stars in it?

“The most interesting report is that Rapace met with and told Ridley Scott that she grew up on his films when she left home at 15. Scott is most likely currently looking for lead actresses and with the films he has on his slate their is really only one that requires personal meetings at this stage, Alien Prequel.”

Predators On Blu-Ray

Predators will be released on October 19, 2010 and will be featuring on Blu- Ray & DVD. Predators will be available on standard DVD for the MSRP of $29.98 as well as a two-disc Blu-ray edition with a digital copy for $39.99.

New AvP Skins? UPDATE

As you have seen a post below stating about a skin being seen or announced has just been proven to be fraud, at least for the consoles. For all PC players out there, there has been a really neat tutorial on how you may mod Aliens vs Predator 2010. Check out AvP Source for the full description and tutorial.

As I was surfing through twitter I happened to see a funny little tweet about AvP. If you look below you might see a familiar vision from a specific game… Could that really be the Berserker in Aliens. vs Predator?

The users name was taken off for identity reasons, but could this be a little teaser from Rebellion saying they didn’t give up on us? Anyways from examining this picture, it looks pretty legit and maybe might be a way of surprising the AvP Game Fans.

Hot Toy – Royce

Hot Toys has released images of the upcoming toy for Royce also known as Adrien Brody on there Facebook. It’s a 1/6th scale Royce Collectible Figure from the Predators movie. Also with this great merchandise piece, it comes with some clothing and weapons that were seen in the film. In my opinion they did a pretty decent job but messed up a bit on the face. It has been said for it to be released Q4 2010.
